The Hudson Farm Foundation was founded in 2000 with the purpose of supporting qualified charities in the immediate vicinity of Hudson Farm. The Foundation is funded by the Club’s Members each of whom contributes a portion of their dues to the Foundation annually.
More than $11,000,000 has been distributed to those qualified charities since inception. Recently, the Foundation has expanded its consideration of qualified recipients to include approved organizations who operate and maintain a physical presence within Sussex County, New Jersey.
Charities the Foundation has supported include Project Self Sufficiency, Habitat for Humanity, The Karen Ann Quinlin Foundation, and local animal protection agencies as well as rehabilitation clinics, Fire, Police and Ambulance services that provide essential services to our community, including our Members and staff.
New charities may submit their request to be included in the Foundation’s approved list. Once reviewed, they may be asked to provide a presentation at a future club gathering. Requests for review should be sent to:

Charity Hikes
at Hudson Farm Club
Hopatcong Hike
The Hudson Farm Charity Hike for Hopatcong is a benefit for local organizations in our community including many emergency services, school PTO’s and project graduation, youth and sports organizations as well as the Friends of the Library and Lake Hopatcong Foundation. The Charity Hike provides a day for our community to gather together and hike the grounds of the Hudson Farm, enjoy the Hudson Farm’s beautiful property which is embedded in our town’s rich history, and support the organizations that serve our community.
Byram Hike
Byram Township charities have benefited from the Hudson Farm Foundation for over 15 years. The hike has been a success by the participation of the surrounding community and volunteers who support the cause. This annual hike is held in October, rain or shine and draws participants from the local community, surrounding area and has even had participants from as far away as Europe and across the United States. The hike varies from year to year with new trail options available different years. The beauty of the property is not alone in the landscape but in those who continue to support our community with the generous support of our local charities.
